JUNE 2ND 2000 - NO PETS WHERE I LIVE NOW  (not allowed)

RESCUED!!!!!! This is what Reedah looks like. Her racing name was War Head. 5 years old and has not raced for 3 years. She really has to get to know someone before she let's them get close. She is a very protective dog and loves to stay outside. Now she is 2 big holes that she has dug (huge ones) and she lays in them to keep cool. It's very hot here in FL and although we have a pool; did you know that Greyhounds can NOT swim. They do not have enough body fat to swim. (make a note of that if you are planning on adopting a Greyhound) There are many things that one should consider BEFORE adopting a Greyhound. You should have a fenced in back yard for starters. You can learn more about Greyhounds adopting one here   & here. Please help save these animals. I have provided several links for adopting and the care that is involved with these animals.

UPDATE ON REEDAH: August 24, 1999 - Reedah has become so friendly now. She plays and greets me at the door when I come home. She is like a changed dog. She knows that at 6pm it is 'her' time. She gets DIN DIN!! And if I am late; oh boy oh boy; she reminds me by giving me a lil' nudge on the elbow. Reedah has adjusted wonderfully. Below are a few links on Greyhounds. Please take time and view at least one of them; you might just find yourself adopting one. :-)

UPDATE ON REEDAH: JUNE 3RD 2000: DIVORCE is in progress and he has Reedah. She is being well taken care of but I miss her terribly.

I must say if you can "rescue" a greyhound then DO IT!!

JUNE 2ND 2000 - NO PETS WHERE I LIVE NOW  (not allowed)

This is a poodle. (miniature) (pic available soon) I also own one of these. She is Heather and is 8 years old. I have MANY photos of her and will scan a few for ya to see in a few days. She's a doll. She's spoiled rotten!

(Pics available soon) Tiels. Cockatiels that is. I have 12 and one Love bird. The Lovebird (Baby Bob) lives with Vern (Normal Grey Pied) *so that's one Tiel* Now the other ones are as follows: Babies born on May 9-21st, are Lefty (white-faced cinnamon), Pearls (white-faced cinnamon), Baby Romeo (white-faced cinnamon), and Roamy (white-faced cinnamon). The ones that are adults (at least one) are as follows: Nokio (white *almost totally white* faced cinnamon) - Kirby (white-faced cinnamon)- Romeo (white-faced cinnamon)- Godfather (Normal Grey Pied)(who is Chipper) and Godmother (Lutino) (who is Amelia) - Cisco (Normal Grey Pied)  and Sweetie (Lutino).

UPDATE JUNE 3RD - 2000 - Due to divorce the only birds that are left are the "Godfather" (Chipper) and the "Godmother" (Amelia) and Harley which was a "new" addition but that's all that's left. Also a new addition was Niki - an Umbrella Cockatoo - which now lives in New York. (yep - she did the plane ride well and seems to "LOVE" her new parents.
